Getting tourist visas usually is straight forward. However, you cannot just show up the airport anymore and get a stamp when travelling to Cuba, you will now need to arrange a tourist visa for Cuba upfront.

Tourist Visa for Cuba
Cuba Green Tourist Card
The Green Tourist Card covers most nationalities. It is valid for 30 days inside of Cuba, and needs to be used within 180 days of its issuance. It can also be extended for an extra 30 days while you are in Cuba.
IMPORTANT: This tourist card only works for travelers as long as they are traveling from a NON-US airport.
Cuba Pink Tourist Card
The Pink Tourist Card is mainly for US citizen, and obligatory for travelers that are traveling from a US airport to Cuba.
Just like the Green Tourist card it is valid for 30 days inside of Cuba, and must be used within 180 days of its issuance. It can also be extended for an extra 30 days while you are in Cuba.
Required Documents to enter Cuba
When applying for the tourist visa for Cuba, and when entering, you will need to provide certain documents. Find a list below of what is needed:
- Passport which is valid for at least 6 months
- Insurance that is covers the whole period you will be staying in Cuba
- Return ticket and proof of sufficient funds (e.g. bank statement)
- Proof of accommodation you booked for the duration of your stay
